1. What is this tool for?

It's a real cash register for the bar and the registrations of a competition: you click the items sold, you see the total and the change due, you take payment, and it resets to zero for the next customer. At the end of the day: cash counting and a summary. And everything accumulates over several days.

2. The days

Each day has its date, its float, its sales and its count. Click a tab to switch, ➕ New day to add one (the prices are copied over), or 🗑 Delete this day.

3. Cash float

Enter the starting cash float (the change to give back). Tip: about 10 to 15% of the expected cash takings.

4. Ring up a sale (the ticket)

Click on the items for the customer: they are added to the ticket on the right (with the total of each line and the TOTAL in bold).

Adjust the quantities with − / + if needed.

Click ✓ RING UP : the sale is recorded and the ticket goes back to zero.
↩️ Mistake? Cancel the last transaction reverses the last sale. Clear clears the current ticket without ringing it up.

5. Giving change

Enter the amount received from the customer: the changes is displayed automatically (green if OK, red if short). No more mental arithmetic.

6. Manage prices / products

⚙️ Manage prices : rename, change a price, choose the category (Bar / Registration), delete or add a product. Prices are kept from one day to the next.

7. Registrations vs bar

Each item is filed under Registrations (blue) or Bar (orange). The tool automatically separates the two takings.

8. The drink tokens

For a bar “cashless at the counter” : activate the tokens, enter the price and the number sold. The takings from the tokens are counted in the bar.

✅ Official tip: plan for about 10 tokens per expected participant.

9. Cash counting (end of day)

Count your notes and coins by denomination; the total works itself out.

10. Summary & deviation

  • Theoretical total = float + takings (what should be in the till).
  • Counted = actual total of your count.
  • Discrepancy = counted − theoretical (0 = correct).
  • To hand over = counted − float (to give to the treasurer).

11. Multi-day running total

The table at the bottom adds up all the days : registration takings, bar, total and discrepancies — the full weekend statement.

12. Resume the next day (import)

In the evening: ⬇️ Export and keep the file .json.

The next day: ⬆️ Import → your days come back.

➕ New day : the current day is added, the running total updates.

13. Backup, export, printing

  • 💾 Save : saves in this browser (+ auto).
  • ⬇️ Export / ⬆️ Import : file .json.
  • 🖨️ Print : summary PDF (per day + running total).
  • 🗑️ Clear all : starts from zero.
