The stated aim: to extend the spirit of the Mondial throughout the year across the whole regional territory.

As in previous years, TGV INOUI remains the official carrier of the event, with direct services to Marseille from 43 stations in France and across Europe — a further sign of the national appeal taken on by the Marseillais tournament.
4.The main triplette draw: where do things stand?
The main triplette tournament, open to all categories, started on 5 July and runs until its final scheduled for Wednesday 8 July. The early rounds have already delivered their share of resounding "fanny" and trouble-free qualifications for several big guns of the circuit.
