According to the applicable procedure, the team which has won the right to throw has attempts to place a valid goal; if it fails, the opponent can place or throw the goal according to the competition framework in force. The important point is that the initial advantage does not give the right to impose an irregular goal.
In competitions, always follow the instructions of the referee and the organization. Club customs do not replace official procedure.
Announce the target distance before throwing: “I put it at eight meters”. Your gesture becomes more precise and the partners better read the tactics of the lead.
5.Errors that create disputes
The first mistake is playing fast to prevent verification. The second is to measure only when the result of the first ball is displeased. The third is to confuse a difficult goal with a zero goal. These three attitudes damage the atmosphere and give a bad image of the game.
The solution lies in a routine: correct circle, announcement of the limit, throw, check if in doubt, then only the first ball. This routine takes fifteen seconds and saves a lot of energy.
